  • Autonomic Neuropathy. Impacts the autonomic nervous system, which controls involuntary body functions like heart rate, digestion, and bladder function.
  • Proximal Neuropathy. Affects the nerves in the thighs, hips, buttocks, or legs, often leading to pain and muscle weakness.
  • Focal Neuropathy. Involves damage to a single nerve or a group of nerves, causing sudden weakness or pain in specific areas, such as the wrist, thigh, or foot.
  • Cranial Neuropathy. Affects the cranial nerves, which can impact vision, hearing, and facial movements.

Can Acupuncture Help Neuropathy?

Acupuncture for neuropathy involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate the nervous system. Neuropathy and acupuncture can help ease pain, improve blood circulation, and enhance nerve function. Acupuncture neuropathy treatments can reduce symptoms such as numbness, tingling, and burning pain.

Acupuncture for peripheral neuropathy is particularly viable for those experiencing nerve damage in their limbs. Many patients find relief from acupuncture for foot neuropathy, which targets areas that are often most affected by this condition. The holistic approach of acupuncture and neuropathy ensures a holistic and effective treatment plan that addresses both symptoms and underlying causes. Research supports the positive effects of neuropathy acupuncture in managing this condition.

Acupuncture Has Neuropathy Benefits

acupuncture treatment for neuropathy

Acupuncture treatment for neuropathy offers quite a few benefits. This therapy helps to ease neuropathic pain by stimulating specific points on the body, which can greatly improve blood flow, reduce inflammation, and promote natural healing processes. Patients often experience reduced pain, improved nerve function, and greater overall well-being.

Acupuncture is also beneficial for conditions such as diabetic neuropathy, chemotherapy-induced neuropathy, and peripheral neuropathy, providing a non-invasive alternative to traditional pain management treatments. Regular acupuncture sessions can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life, making it a viable option for those suffering from neuropathy.

Our Story

I am a West Point graduate (2009) who served in the Army long enough to get some health problems. Kung Fu, and by proxy Acupuncture/TCM, helps me manage many of those issues. The effects were so great I just had to learn it! Now I choose to help others like I was helped.

Great experiences! Very friendly, professional, patient and informative (I had lots of questions and so did my daughters). Felt immediate results and pain relief from my overworked, compressed wrists/hands. A couple months back I had kidney pains, went to visit my medical doctor, and had tests ran. They came back with “nothing in the results; everything’s fine”. My first visit at Kuna Wellness- he immediately pointed out my kidney meridian having issues (I didn’t mention them at all)! I felt he listened, addressed my areas of concern (and then some), and he gave great self-care tips and exercises!

My wife had a sudden impairment of speech, stuttering and almost slurring. As well as twitching and shakeness of limbs and we received no information from the hospital about why or what to do. Our cherished friends invited her for a last minute session for deep precisionmassage, acupuncture and cupping after going over her symptoms the night before. After the session she was close to normal in speech and body control! She will undoubtedly get some much needed rest. Kyle is absolutely amazing. I would recommend a visit for anyone looking to improve their overall well-being!

I have suffered from neck pain and immobility for quite some time. I have tried chiropractic in the past with not much relief. I’m glad I gave acupuncture a try. Kyle is very knowledgeable and spent time asking questions to determine the best treatment for my issues. With massage/acupuncture sessions, combined with at home exercise , I am seeing relief from my neck issues. I’m very pleased to find such an amazing acupuncturist as Kyle in our small town of Kuna!
